What is R-Value?
R-value measures the resistance to heat flow of a wall or window,
or how well the window insulates you from the elements.
The higher the R-value, the better.
What is U-Value?
U-value measures heat conduction thru a wall or window. The lower the U-value, the better. The lower the U-value, the greater a window's resistance to heat flow and the better its insulating value.

Penguin Windows are installed by our highly trained employees, who follow the installation standards set forth by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA). Other window companies rely on uncertified and untrained subcontractors.
With Penguin Windows, every job is inspected by an AAMA certified inspector. This insures the high quality our customers expect and it enables Penguin Windows to warranty both our window and the installation. Other companies simply can’t do this.
We follow strict safety standards so we can protect both you and your property. When the job is complete, we do a great job cleaning up the jobsite. Other windows companies don’t always do this.
