Why are three panes of glass better than two?
Triple-pane windows provide better insulation, better noise reduction and better security than standard double-pane windows. This is because the extra pane creates an additional ‘dead’ air space, which is then filled with dense, insulating Krypton gas.

How much can I save on my energy bills if I install Penguin Windows?
Triple-pane windows are one of the most energy efficient windows on the market. That’s why many of our customers see a big drop in their heating and cooling costs. Compared to double-pane windows, Penguin Windows could save up to 30%, while homes upgrading from single-pane aluminum windows could save up to 40% on their bills! Actual energy savings depend on a number of factors, including the construction of the existing windows, home size, number and size of windows, etc.
How can I receive up to $1500 in Federal Tax Credits by purchasing Penguin Windows?
Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, you could be eligible for a $1,500 federal tax credit on the purchase of energy efficient Penguin Windows. The credit is claimed on your income tax return for 2010 and is available to eligible taxpayers who purchase and install energy efficient replacement windows in 2010 for their principal residence. The credit is 30% of the cost of the windows (excluding installation) and is limited to a maximum amount of $1500. The tax credit is not refundable but it reduces the amount of 2010 income taxes that you would otherwise have to pay. Additional eligibility requirements or restrictions may apply. How does the in-home demonstration work?

What if I have problems with my windows after the installation is complete?
Every Penguin Window comes with a Lifetime Guarantee, so no matter how long it’s been since your installation, we’ll send an expert to your home to correct the problem. And the Lifetime Guarantee is transferable to a new owner if you ever decide to sell!
What makes Penguin Windows more secure than other replacement windows?
A number of different features contribute to the safety of Penguin Windows, including double locks, solidly engineered frames and triple-pane glass. During our in-home demonstration, we often stand on the glass to show it’s strength - just imagine how difficult it would be for an intruder to break in!
How is Krypton gas different from Argon gas?
It’s all about density. Krypton is about 105% denser that Argon gas, which means it’s a much better insulator. And since we have two spaces filled with gas instead of the usual single space, the difference is multiplied even further!
